Wingspan: 30-35mm. Whitish hindwing

Flight time: June-October
Habitat: Urban and rural grasslands and woodland rides

Larvae feed on grasses including Cock's-foot, Couch, Meadow-grass

Similar: Smoky Wainscot, hindwing is +/- grey
