Food plants: Rosaceaeous spp: Hawthorn (Crataegus) and Apple (Malus), also Pyrus (Pear), Rowan (Sorbus), Cotoneaster, Amelanchier
Mine: September-October
A long, winding corridor with arcs of brownish frass.
The mine can be shorter in thicker leaves that are exposed to the sun, especially those of Cotoneaster, Malus and Pyrus
